All Program of Distinction applicants pay a fee upon submitting their applications.  The application fee for a single facility is $3,500, and is payable by check to APIC Consulting Services. System pricing is also available if the system has cohesive infection prevention policies at all facilities. Checks can be mailed to:

Facilities that pass the application phase and are invited to participate in the onsite assessment phase will pay a program fee.  The program fee depends on the size and complexity of the facility or health system, and ranges from $14,500 – $35,000+. There is no annual fee for designated facilities during the interim years of the three-year cycle.
